Meet The Doctor

dentist

Dr. Jonathan R. Meyer

Dr. Jonathan R. Meyer is the founding dentist and owner of Integrity Family Dentistry LLC. He entered the dental profession in high school as a dental assistant, and since becoming a dentist, has served in a variety of public health, non-profit, and private dental practices.

As a dentist, Dr. Jonathan believes that his role is to equip people with the tools and knowledge they need to take care of their own teeth. When something is broken, they need to understand all of their options so they can pick the solution that works best for them.

If something isn’t broken, Dr. Jonathan doesn’t try to fix it. He practices Minimally Invasive Dentistry, which is the understanding that dentists have the responsibility to conserve as much of the original structure as possible whenever they repair a tooth, and to keep the original teeth functioning as long as possible.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Jonathan treasures the time he gets to spend with his family. He’s known his wife, Ashlynn, since he was twelve and she was eight, and he’s thankful they’re finally married! Their little boys, Yates and Gaius, are growing up fast, and Dr. Jonathan doesn’t want to miss any of it. The Meyer family enjoys gardening, playing guitar and piano, and leading Bible studies at their church.

Heather truly loves working with patients to improve their oral health and making their dental visits enjoyable. When Heather is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three dogs, three stepsons, and their families. They enjoy doing just about anything outdoors. A few of the outdoor activities are biking, fishing, riding horses, going up north, golfing, and snowboarding. Heather and her family also love to travel.

receptionist

Janet Thurler

Janet graduated from Madison Area Technical College May of 2020 with an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. As a hygienist it is important to her that every person who is in her chair feels comfortable and understood. She is passionate about ensuring that each patient has been provided with the information and tools they need to achieve and maintain a healthy smile. She wants each patient to leave feeling as if they have been treated with kindness. She loves her job because she is given the opportunity to meet and get to know new people daily. It is what keeps her smiling throughout her work day.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking camping and most of all just be with family, which includes her husband their daughter and 2 stepdaughters as well as 3 grandchildren. They also have a cat and dog as part of their family.

receptionist

Heather Baker

Heather brings 20 years of experience to our team starting from her experience with chairside assisting and maxillofacial surgical assisting experience to one of our registered hygienists. Her love for dental education and the holistic approach took her to finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in complementary and alternative medicine. When she isn't seeing patients, Heather is spending time with her husband and 6 children doing everything from soup to nuts in what she calls "controlled chaos".

receptionist

Zoe Alonso

Zoe Alonso’s love of dentistry started at an early age as she always enjoyed going to see her dentist. She graduated from Blackhawk Technical College as a Dental Assistant in May 2021. She joined our team shortly thereafter in April 2022. Her kindness and expertise have brought joy to both our team and our patients. Her love of dentistry is shadowed only by her love of Starbucks. In her leisure time, Zoe enjoys a good country concert, relaxing whilst fishing, and spending time with friends and family.

receptionist

Emily Meyer

Emily has a passion for serving people surpassed only by her passion for cheesecake. Before joining the team, Emily earned a degree in computer science and worked as a computer programmer, a chapter in life she affectionately terms “The Tragic Backstory”. While her dream job is to be a Victorian-era housekeeper, she finds joy and fulfillment as a dental assistant; she loves welcoming people into the office and making them feel at home. She harbors a special affection for fairytales, doodling, all things Broadway, and the word “serendipitous”.

receptionist

Jayna Gilmore

Jayna Gilmore joined the team in 2021, coming from a community pharmacy background. This has given her a well-rounded knowledge of patient medical needs as well as a heart for patient care. She has enjoyed the transition into the dental world from pharmacy, and looks forward to many years as a member of the team here at Integrity Family Dentistry. When she is not at work, she enjoys homeschooling her children, fellowshipping at church, and setting out on family adventures. In her spare time, she relaxes by baking sweets, watching classic black-and-white movies, or defeating her husband in board games... or at least attempting to.
